WHAT IS REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY?
Registered Massage Therapy is regulated health care profession and massage therapists have completed a 2200 hour diploma program from a recognized college. Only members of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario are permitted to use the title Massage Therapist or Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Massage Therapists training consists of health science, pathology, nutrition, orthopaedic testing, therapeutic massage and remedial exercise training.
Registered Massage Therapy is covered by most health insurance benefit plans, with a receipt, which is issued at the time of your treatment.
